Facilities and Human Capital

Improve statewide terrorism prevention and protection programs by maintaining appropriate policies, developing staffing plans, and providing for continuity of operations.

Planning and Grants Management

Collaborate with OHS partners to coordinate effective homeland security planning by developing and implementing preparedness strategies.

Training and Education

Provide training and other educational opportunities to ensure that OHS personnel and partners understand the homeland security mission and the fusion center’s functions and procedures.

Intelligence Analysis and Production

OHS will maintain a process for intelligence analysis and production that emphasizes the development and distribution of strategic and actionable intelligence.

Information and Intelligence Management

OHS operational processes will adhere to strict standards for information and intelligence stewardship to include collection, storage, security, and sharing.

Critical Infrastructure/Key Resource Protection and Security

Strengthen the resiliency of Ohio’s critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR) by collaborating with public and private partners to identify vulnerabilities, share information, and facilitate the development of protective programs.

Collaboration and Outreach

Conduct outreach to develop and maintain partnerships that will continually expand Ohio’s information sharing environment.

Operational Assessment

Define expectations, measure performance and determine the effectiveness of overall OHS operations.
